Most of the time the women and children that come to us have next to nothing. Often they have been forced to flee situations that were unsafe and unhealthy, and are in need of a fresh start. Even those that come to us from situations that were once stable, families who tried to make a decent living in professions that once guaranteed dignity and prosperity – now find themselves in a place of devestation and desperation.

Once they come to us, it is often only the beginning of the help that they need from month to month. Your support of these items of need is vital. Things that most of us take for granted, can be a challenge for those struggling just to keep a roof over their heads.
